Practical tools to recognize distress early, prevent burnout, and strengthen well-being in high-demand environments.

This approach works because it blends evidence-based mental health science with years of direct experience supporting people in the most demanding corners of healthcare. I’ve trained physicians, APPs, nurses, medical students, residents, and healthcare executives on suicide prevention to burnout, stress, leadership well-being, and building healthier team cultures. By translating complex psychological concepts into simple, practical tools that fit real clinical workflows, I help healthcare teams recognize distress early, support one another with confidence, and cultivate everyday practices that strengthen connection, safety, and well-being.

Dr. Holder's presentation on burnout and managing burnout in the healthcare field was eye-opening, insightful, and truly hit the nail on the head. She spoke on topics applicable to all types of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) practice and provided us with helpful tips and strategies to help our teams work through the symptoms of burnout. Her description of typical burnout scenarios alone made my team feel seen and supported. Dr. Holder was our keynote speaker for APP week, and her presentation could not have been more impactful and applicable. I hope to be able to implement the strategies I learned from her on both a personal and team level going forward.

I had the joy of speaking with Dr. Kelly Holder on the Solving for Joy podcast, but my admiration for her began long before we hit record. As a clinical psychologist and Chief Wellbeing Officer, Kelly brings wisdom, integrity, and deep presence to every space she enters. She embodies wellness as a lived value and reminds us that joy and struggle can coexist. If you're looking for a powerful speaker, thought partner, or someone whose presence elevates a room, Kelly is someone you want in your orbit. She’s not just walking the walk. She’s holding the door open for others to walk through too.
